hey, the cap is 99 so if you are earning more than 3 at once and going past 99, they won't drop for you. it's dumb, i know. try going to xur and spending a few on the single-coin engram rolls, or dismantle a few coins (it won't get rid of your entire stack). then you'll be able to run a strike or something and get to the amount you need
