is there a link stating where it says that they are investigating the issue by any chance

How long have they been investigating this issue? And how can I write to them directly? Where can I find their contact for such matters? Is there a main forum topic related to this to follow current updates?

There is no direct contact with the devs. The forums are the official support method for Destiny 2. Any updates would most likely be placed in the TWiD or via the Bungie Help Twitter account.

Continuing on with this. When did this problem appear, more or less? Are they actually investigating it - I mean an official statement that they are aware and working on it?

The name bug appeared a week or so ago, I do not have the exact date. They are investigating it, official help accounts have replied the same information several times to other posts.

i have a friend with the same issue and he can't change it, is there a post on the bungie help twitter or anything like that
