Maybe for hunters and warlocks but prismatic titan isn't really killing the base subclasses.

It's the best DPS Titan subclass by far because of Star Eater + Facet of Courage and while Strand and Solar have better survivability, Transcendence letting you spam healing Syntho-buffed Consecrations or Consecrations that also jolt targets is absolutely insane. There's a reason why the GM meta now is Prismatic on every class. Doomfangs on Pris let you get an actually useful super in less than a minute, Arc and Stasis are basically made obsolete because Pris gets the best parts of their kits with better fragments and customisation plus Transcendence. Void stays unique but what Void Titan offers isn't really all that needed.

But it isn't prismatic killing those subclasses. Arc and stasis were already dead and void is just chilling on the side. Solar still has playstyles prismatic doesn't and strand is the go to for buffing melees and team healing and giving damage resist to the team. Not meta doesn't mean bad, so this means prismatic titan needs some buffs to get us there.

That's mostly because they don't seem to know what to do with it and hoped Consecration would carry it by itself. That said, the Diamond Lance Prismatic build works pretty well once you can get the chain going.
