They should make it where we unlock 12/20 then move it up to maybe 14/25 & 16/30 as they add more slots during the acts OR even better, unlock them all as it was before for a couple of seasons.

I know. I think bungie once allowed us to have more than 12 points like a year ago or something. Then they went back to 12 points capped.
