I'd be happy if they gave it anti barrier rounds, and each bullet applied 2 scorch stacks. This would let you cause an ignition every 50 rounds giving it a nice damage buff and solar synergy. It would also make it counter both barrier and unstoppables.

I was thinking of that since it is a weapon wielded by Barrier Colossus, but we already have 2 exotic machines guns with anti-champion capabilities, so I doubt Bungie would be willing. I'm also not too sure about Scorch on hit, since that's kinda just the same thing as Tommy's or Skyburner's, but as a heavy
