So? This game is on life support and you're worried about a gun that a minority of players use in a minority activity?

He's worried about them nerfing guns that no one ever uses. Destiny logic
He's worried about them nerfing guns that no one ever uses. Destiny logic
It's the 3rd most used primary in trials tied with the number 1 weapon for head shots and has a higher usage/ kill ratio that the number 1 used weapon. What you mean it's a gun no one ever uses 🤣🤣. Bungie has a habbit of nerfing an entire archetype because of one outlier, he has a valid concern.

Edited by s: 9/1/2024 8:30:01 PMlol how skewed and cherry picked this is. 3rd most gun used and tied for headshots because of the top 3 1 is an auto rifle which also is #1. this is like saying that the khvostov and rose need a nerf. if anything the khvostov needs another nerf more than any other gun because it has dominated trials and comp since the start of the expansion. rose is pretty much a 140 with built in moving target which you don't even have to move for as it already has 90 aim assist with an AA mod. There are 3 strong guns of different archetypes all being used with similar usage rates. seems like a relatively balanced meta if you ask me at least for destiny. nerf one and we go to a 2 gun meta. nerf 2 and we go to a 1 gun meta. if anything nothing should be nerfed rather the 450 changes need to be reverted so maybe we can go to a 4 gun meta. wouldn't that be great. prosecutor needs to be brought back as an outlier like it was. that and hopefully they'll reintroduce the 260 trials scout with precision instrument so that we can go to a 5 gun meta. nerfing guns/gun archetypes is the wrong direction at this point. also elsies is hardly an outlier it's just the only other good 340 pulse the messenger is difficult for the general populace to obtain. that effects usage rate more than anything else. rose is much harder to get a good roll of than elsies and still used more than it. food for thought.

Yes there are three top weapons. Yes khovostov is used more. But despite khovostov being the number 1 weapon is usage to kill ratio is lower than elsies. So is rose. Fact is the number 1 weapon isn't the best weapon when u actually read the data, And I'd be willing to bet thats because not everyone has a zen/headshot roll of elsies, if they did elsies stats in the meta would be even higher. Rose doesn't need a nerf simply because it's usage/kill ratio isn't that impressive, despite being the 3rd most used weapon. And khovostov doesn't need one simply because it's usage ratio is directly tied to the fact it's available to everyone, good out the box. Considering everyone can get it, it's usage is rather low and the moment autos get tuned, a better exotic become a more viable option, or a better auto becomes available it's usage rate will plummet.

Concern about nerfing OTHER 340's no one ever uses :)

Lots of people use high impact pulses and Elsie’s is the most used weapon in trials this week. But yeah man Destiny logic

Edited by s: 9/1/2024 8:25:35 PMelsies is just the easiest decent high impact to get. that's why everyone uses it. all you have to do is farm a pve event for 2 days. there are definitely players who prefer the messenger over it though the messenger is much more difficult to get a good roll of.
