Cheating and hacking
Trying to play crucible, trials or comp. And having people cheating, not missing headshots at all while sliding with a sniper, Not taking any damage, not being able to do anything. This is getting out of control. Can we have some type of update that hunts down these people making the game bad. And get them off this game?

There are cheats on console, but the cheats do not make players invincible or never miss shots. The primary cheats used on console are 3rd party hardware usage and network manipulation. I would love it if Bungie would ban 3rd party hardware users from the game (like they said they were going to... 2 years ago). EDIT: I will mention that if you match against PC players, then hacking is certainly possible. Is that what happened?

Dude was hitting perfect headshots with a sniper the entire match, regardless of wtf he was doing. He could be jumping around mid air, and still hit headshots in an instant, the moment a singe pixel of another player peaked out.

3 RepliesThat would be cool to have an update like that. I wonder what the player population would look like if those people all suddenly disappeared. I had a few matches today where some of the people were just teleporting all over the place. Maybe it was just lag but they sure did seem to know when to melee after they jump teleported 5 times in a row. Hunters with quintuple teleport jump melees.

Or just take PVP out of the game as Destiny is a PVE game anyways and it ruins the sandbox.

My brother used to hack BIG TIME in this game using R-1 on PC... He got banned within 6 hours on every account... They are doing things... But it's a way slower process than it should be.

So in other words you experience a bit of lag and face players that could just be very good and that equates to hacking and cheating? Bungie will remove cheaters as soon as you can mention just 1 instance of anything that's competitive that has been able rid itself of cheats.

3 RepliesYoure on console, the most youd be getting is xim or cronus and they only allow recoil removal. You got outplayed, simple as that.
