why have limits at all. If people want to play, why can't they earn the rewards. Its literally that easy.

  • I understand this approach, but I feel like the worry is balancing the cost of the items with the limit of the currency you can carry. The currency has to be WORTH something in order for an item to have value or be expensive, and removing the cap would promote play, but not engagement because then what is your playtime WORTH?

  • If having too much resources is not good just because it doesn't promote engagement, then add resource sink for that, allowing people to engage constantly

  • If I play now its worth nothing, I get no xp, in many cases if you have already looted a box, you can't loot it again, so the play time is actually less valuable now then if we could continue to earn items when we play regardless of parity which Bungie wants us all to fall under. Resources lets bungie control our play and habits. Without that control players could earn what theyu want, play how they want and be rewarded in kind. Are you really trying to tell me that there is value in have a cap on materials so the items they purchase have even more value??

  • Don't forget all these restrictions and artificial limitations are built in a game at life support, probably end of its life span. One should think the company living from its clients would do everything to increase customer satisfaction for as long as possible!? No.

  • Scarcity is one of the bedrocks of economics. The current cap is too low for sure, but it’s not the wirst thing to have a cap
