They just removed the passive increase in grenade energy that you gain when the arc soul damages an enemy when devour is active. Yes, you feel it... but its not a game changer. From TFS day 1, when I first tried the Getaway build, I knew it was too strong and nerfs were inbound soon. I feel that this is a relatively tame nerf on Bungies part, as they didnt nerf the build into the ground as normal. Not sure about what you mean "when devour and demolition dont interact well".

    Still, considering this build was gaining traction with theory crafting very soon after prismatic’s reveal, it does seem kinda weird Bungie missed this interaction’s strength. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to go “hey we just but devour on a subclass that has a suite of abilities that interact with exotics that are normally usable on one subclass” and take a second pass at available exotics prior to release. The changes to Mantle of Battle Harmony and Verity’s Brow shows they only half explored the idea and paid the price later.
