Combo blow ain't an instant win button.
You still have to play accordingly or you'll be ripped apart by enemies.
Damage output may be on the high end, if that's an issue (when combined with a damage boosting exotic) but the way it works itself is not, as far as I can see, an issue. Risk/Reward.
As for solar, meh. Honestly, I'm whatever with it in the Pris kit. I'd still much rather use standard solar.
Threaded Spector, where to start? (Git Gud) Comes to mind, but you know the PvP heathens will hate that. I think a reduction in aim magnetism would help a lot for PvP, even maybe a removal of it all together, as long as it's a PvP only change. In PvE it works well and I don't think needs to be adjusted at all.
The other alternative I could see being beneficial to the people that don't like it is to remove the critters from it after it's shot, although that'll totally defeat the purpose of it and it wouldn't be at all in line with the way Strand works.
Overall I think it's an adequate kit that's new and somewhat exciting to play with.
It could use some tuning, mostly relating to PvP 🥱 but I don't agree with a "complete" rework.

Thanks for replaying. I agree that combination blow isn't necessarily an instant win button but at the same time it's hard to deny that combination blow is leagues ahead of the other melee options. Infinite melee and dodges with an escalating damage bonus. combined with Caliban's add-clear and Liar's damage output. Also at this point it has completely taken over Arc Hunter's job as a subclass. As for threaded specter in PvP. I'm gonna be honest I'm NOT much of a PvP player and personally I don't mind threaded specter, I just hear a lot of youtubers and other PvP players hate on it, and if changing the aspects could lead to a more healthy meta I think it would be fine if we then got the Whirling maelstrom as a compensation since it would synergize with Stylish.

The problem here in regards to combo blow is you're using an exotic to strengthen your case, a rare duel exotic at that. On its own it's a good melee option, but it doesn't offer anything too overpowered as far as melees go in general. Combined with your standard exotic (liers handshake for example) it becomes a decent damage option, and this is how it should work. Again, as stated previously it's a risk/reward playstyle. If we take this one step further and you add calibans to the mix you're gaining the explosion which, IMO is only giving you an "add clear option" and seems to me an acceptable tradeoff given that while using this playstyle you're not engaging the enemies with and weapons. It is definitely a strong setup, one I run myself for fun, but in terms of "overpowered"? I don't think so. An example to counter is something like volatile, where a player can proc volatile and wipe out a group of adds with minimal effort and also be at a safe distance while doing so, effectively doing the same job as what the calibans user is doing without the risk of being downed by something in close range either meleeing back or, in the case of many bosses stomping. It's a fun build that combines two play styles and can be very effective in a regular playing environment, however it's not something I'd choose to use in endgame content where he adds and bosses are a lot stronger and harder to kill, at that stage you're only going to run into trouble using it, and it'd be more risk than reward, as stated above due to being hit back or stomped.
