Edited by ancient nick: 7/10/2024 12:59:14 AMunless your using a class exotic like hunter's have that preserve radar or even ace of spades radar doesent really help. additionally there is also the existence of invisibility and decoys that make radar unreliable. and ADSing just removes radar and thats basically reflex to do before peeking or going into a firefight so it defeats the point for actively confirming enamys also how do you expect someone in a firefight to take their eyes off of a redical over someone in front of you look at a radar at the top left of your screen and then look back with enough time to spare to shoot the person in front of them after confirming they are not a friend? furthermore wile yes there are a few pepole in one map its not easy to keep track of whos who all the time especially with tight maps like vostok, citadel & pesifica or even in choke points of some other maps witch i cant remember the names to when everyone is in a melay/shotgun brawl, or their is a firefight going on and both teams are at moderate distances with one or maybe two hunters trying to melay fight to get to the other side behind some cover so spotting the enemy could save the game if its a elimination match or some other game mode. i am doing my best to pay attention but if i have to rely on GUI to tell who is who that just feels like a band aid solution to a core problem that gambit solved a long time ago by just making you have a red glow it becomes a bit more of a visual problem when it comes to shader use of superblack and whatever the all white shader is since you can look at the map and change your shader to match the walls and terrain or just go so dark you blend into the background witch for pepole who cant play with a high brightness due to ither hardware limitations or medical problems like a bright screen physically hurting their eyes like in my case though idk how rare or common it is but still kinda not plesent getting shot by someone you physically could not see. so i dont mean to sound rude or stubborn but theirs a certain point where a GUI is not enough to help identify pepole
