So you chose the melee class but now you don't like it. Choose a Hunter if you want to shoot a bunch of a Warlock if you want to run more abilities. Titans have been melee oriented since the very first day of D1 when Strikers had OHK shoulder charge and void overshield bonk on bubble Titan. Of course Titans also have quick weapon swaps and extra weapon damage, but you just want to be easy mode I guess.

  • You seem to have very little experience in this game, so the issue with being a melee focused class is that melee is often not an option in endgame. Hunters aren't limited to a "ranged" class. If anything, they currently do melee better than Titans, so I'm not sure why they try to silo Titans to a melee class.

  • Titans have ranged attacks/ abilities and suppers, but they are still built as the melee/ close ranged combat fighters. / tanks.

  • As I mentioned, close fighting is often not an option. We have one ranged super, the other is a roaming super that can attack at range but is not a viable dps option.

  • Titan Supers: Thunder Clash: Long Range (LR) Fists of Havoc: Close Range (CR) Ward of Dawn: provides other benefits for self or team Sentinel Shields: CR+LR Twilight Arsenal: CR+LR Burning Maul: Medium Range (MR)+ CR with exotic for even more damage, or CR without Hammer of Sol: LR Glacial Quake: CR, but used with Ager’s Scepter, it can be LR. Bladefury: CR+LR Prismatic: all those supers are built for long range. So no you don’t have just one long range option as a titan. Depending what exotic weapon/ armor you use, along with the build-crafting you do, I am sure players can make LR Titans do a decent amount of damage. The identity of being the tank melee/ close-range fighter is still there for the Titans, with several LR supers also available. You pick titan to play a certain way, you pick hunter or warlock for other gameplay options. If players don’t like that identity, they should probably play a different class. They might also want to consider, other builds and new gameplay loops to try out.

  • Thunder crash is a close range ability. Everything else you mentioned Is also non-sense. Clearly, you have little no experience in endgame with Titan, so we don't have anything else to discuss. Have a nice day.
