Bungie has, in their naming policy, said that they can remove names for any reason they want without giving a reason or providing you with any way to avoid it in the first place or appeal it.
Which is pretty bad, but it is what it weirdly is.
Sorry.

So what I’m hearing is that whoever on the Bungie team removed my name doesn’t agree with equal rights for women? Sorry, but I gotta hear directly from Bungie about this -blam!-…
-
They could think it was meant sarcastically or they could just think "oh it feels like a social issue and god forbid we allow that in the game despite what we ourselves are championing" or they just had a bad day or they just felt like it would be funny to. Anything is grounds for removal. But I understand your desire to hear from them to justify their reasoning. I've seen a few of these threads, and I don't think I've seen them acknowledged or explained once by anyone at bungie. I do hope you get through to them though. Good luck.

Yeah, me too. Gotta love a multi-billion dollar company getting upset over a username pushing a cause they don’t themselves condone…

Just like Women's Right (Timelost)?
-
Timelost I would’ve understood if they banned, but I chose Adept for a reason

Unfortunately too many people use that adjective in sarcasm or with negative connotations, which is probably why it was removed.
