Really? It's been a hot minute since I've watched Regular Show, but I remember it kinda sucking. Like, it was fun for a little bit, but it didn't take long for every episode to feel kind of the same, y'know?

There’s definitely a formula but after a season or two they start having an over arching story and character development. Just finished my second time through a little bit ago. I rewatched it with the wife.

I do remember there being a little bit of an overarching plot, but from what I remember it just came down to romance drama. Like, I remember there was that cloud girl, and stuff went down with her. Was there more of an overarching plot beyond that? Or was it basically just the romance stuff. I tend not to get too invested in romance stories. Or, at least I didn't used to? I was pretty invested in the romance plot of both The Owl House and Star vs the Forces of Evil, so maybe my tastes of changed. :p Either that, or those were just the exceptions.

Thats part of it but there’s a story plot too. Enough of a plot that the show has a full blown ending.

Huh, well, maybe I'll give it another chance when/if I decide to watch another show. I certainly don't remember it having much of an actual plot to it, so perhaps I just never wound up watching that much of the series!
