I totally understand. For every fish I got that I needed, I got at 20-25 I didn’t need. Straight up a numbers game. You’ll get them all once you approach 9-10k fish caught. It’s possible if you start going ham right now. You can farm sub minute lost sectors runs for bait. Pretty much what I did

Another way is to just run public events in the EDZ, you get like 7 bait a run and pick up any planetary materials you come across. Crucible is also an easy bait farm if you do the fast matches.
