meaning you are forced to wear the class item as your only exotic....yes, it can have 2 perks but still.

They’ll probably make it roll limited and reduced capacity exotic perks (Damage bonus won’t be as high, it won’t drop as many orbs, and cooldowns may be longer) along with only allowing a limited amount of perks (so things like Boots of the Assembler or another complex or specific exotic perks won’t roll on the class item) Pair this with the fact that they are exotic (witch have a low enough drop chance) and that other exotics will populate the engrams, it is going to be a LONG time to farm for the roll you want, so I do think them to be pretty balanced. It does though, support players building their own builds, as replication of builds that use the class item will be hard to get unless you already have the roll that supports the build.

I agree, it shouldn’t be Uber long, as the level of reward would not be worth it, but I do think that a long grind would be healthy, especially for the vets. patience with Bungie is different than patience with the game. While the game is boring, patience wears thin, but if they gave us a fun activity with a higher chance of getting the Exotic Class Items, and that activity is fun, then people will enjoy the long grind. Furthermore, the activity itself can be boring, but if it’s not a slog, players will enjoy the gameplay as opposed to the activity itself. The reason Well Spring Attack is such a bad game mode is because nothing is going on for a long while, and the activity is inherently boring. Had there been more adds, like in Wellspring Defend, people would have been satisfied with the gameplay. Ie, either make the Gameplay good or make the activity good, and players WILL grind.

I think the Perks are a little bit weaker than the original one. When you look right into the FS-Thread you can see a Titan-classitem with Ophidian Perk. But it seems to be only the weaponhandling and not reloadspeed.

It sounded to me that you got to choose the two. Maybe my ears just turn off whenever anything Bungie + RNG are mixed, if not I'd go insane!

That’s what they said. But could even be cross class, could get star eaters and contraverse perks on a Titan mark potentially.

Probably another layered RNG where you have RNG for the item to drop + RNG on perk roll again
