Here's my tip: Remember that your EXP comes from farming rice. So, if something's too strong for you, don't get discouraged. Find something else to do in the meantime, and tackle it in Winter after you've completed your most recent harvest!

As a side note, Harvestella was on sale, and despite my earlier reservations, I decided to pick it up. I've still got some issues with it--I don't like how there seem to be 0 hit reactions for anyone, and the running animation while you have your sword out is still jank, and the dialogue isn't great (though I've seen worse)--but overall I'm enjoying it more than I remember. It still has some of the best feeling farming I've ever played.

Yeah, that one. I really wanted a fantasy game with magic and junk, and I don't actually have a lot of those. I've been playing FFCC, but I'm unfortunately at the most annoying part of the game where I only have a few Artifacts left to get. Without going too much into detail, that basically just means farming for rare drops. (once I get them, though, I'll have maxed out all 8 of my characters) Then I saw Harvestella was on sale, and decided to give it a second chance. It's definitely not as good as Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, but it does both scratch that itch of just wanting to cast magic at dudes, as well as that itch of wanting to farm & play an RPG at the same time. It's no Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, but I think I'm liking it more than Cult of the Lamb, which is something!
