Actually the sparrow is a bit like this, too. Long ago, bungie made a change on how you exit the sparrow. Players used to be able to fly off their sparrow when getting off sparrow at high speed. Bungie didn’t like people making a longer jump by doing that so they nerfed it making it a bit harder to do that jump/fly or simply getting off sparrow. I still have to mashed the buttons just to either get on or off. :/

Haha i definitely missed that era of destiny. I started playing d1 at launch in 2014 and stopped playing sometime after prison of elders released. The craziest stuff i was doing was flying around doing tricks on that blue sparrow with flames 😂. ive only been playing d2 for little less than a year but sparrows till this day have always felt just beautiful to dismount. I would still be dismounting off of it if the skimmers werent so much fun.
