If you want to increase your commendations score simply hand them out to others.
You only need to receive them for the last couple of ranks.

Wrong. Most players, in PVP, just want to get to the next match. So 1.They leave before the screen pops up 2. Aren't worth giving a medal to (2 kills 19 deaths)

What does PvP have to do with what I said? Giving commendations increases a players commendation score. Not sure how anyone that plays can say that's wrong when they can confirm it for themselves in game.

I’m no stranger to the Destiny grind. I have some hours in the games. The grind i have the least control over is the commendations. I think this Guardian Rank system has forced me into the “i just want to hit the last rank so i can be done with the season/game” mentality. I don’t think it’s working as intended when the higher rank players are just bitter from the bulls$#% they had to plow through. i know it’s not everyone, but i know im not alone in this sentiment.

Make a legend lost sector team and farm them.
