In this occasion though, I agree to a small degree…. Like you I don’t who wins, I play all 3 characters and end of day even if I only played one or two characters, it still makes no difference to me who wins this Guardian Games!! What bothers me about it though is that, since Guardian Games was first released, people complained that Hunters was winning every day so Bungie manipulated the scoring system so that Hunters didn’t win!! And from there Bungie has continued to manipulate the scoring system!! This to me is so unfair, it goes against the ethos of Guardian Games!! End of day, I always said that events should be about celebrating the players themselves, not the classes - but from very first Guardian Games, Bungie has turned this into a complete joke!! There is no true winners in Guardian Games while Bungie manipulates the scoring system!!

Because it's never fair at all, the complaint is that they always make hunters chances way lower than everyone else to save face. U don't see that as incredibly discouraging for hunter players? Feeling like ur developer is working against u in what's just supposed to be a fun event?

Last week hunters won all week. That was fair but now it isn't. Hunters are little babies who will cry if parents won't buy em ice cream

In my other reply to u I said it wasn't fair, the focused activity made the fact there's more hunters more obvious, the unfair part is tipping the scores instead of trying to fix the activity that's making the games so unfair rn. And they always tip the scores away from hunters as it is. If u wanna ignore that fact then whatever dude.

Ur not seeing my point, it's one thing is the scaling was balanced, but bungie just unfairly tips the scales in the other classes favor. All I'm asking for is for bungie to actually figure out a balanced fix that isn't so obviously just making hunters chances 0. Idk why you think that isn't worth doing

You're right, I'm not seeing your point. It doesn't change anything no matter who wins, especially since so many players use [i]all 3 classes anyway[/i]. Add to it the fact that everyone can get everything GG has to offer and it matters even less.

A majority of players have mains and what is the point of a competition if the winners are decided by bungie? What is the point of playing the event at all if it's just at the whims of who ever bungie likes the most (titans). It doesn't matter that it's trivial, it's still a competition that's being rigged for NO REASON.

I obviously don't think they love titans more than any other class but it's very obvious to me that they want a certain class to LOSE. I don't care if I sound childish, putting an elephant on the scale to change things in another persons favor in a COMPETITION is childish. With these changes no other class can compete even a LITTLE bit.

A stupid little statue has no impact on that; I still get all the gear I want, and have a good time while doing so. So bungie shouldn't try and balance the event they created, oh wow great point. My entire view has changed. I get u don't agree with me so can u just downvote my post and move on, if u think bungie shouldn't put effort into balancing their own competition that's ur opinion. There's plenty of players who would like the scaling to be fixed, that's why these changes are even made.

Whoopee-do, last week the pendulum swung the other way and guess what was happening? Titans were on the forum saying [i]the exact same damn thing you are now.[/i] This game could be designed to where it could balance on the head of a pin, and we'd still have the same tired posts over and over. Like I said, not interested in balance, only winning.
