Why does every post that makes outrageous claims of cheating not seem to understand that IT IS NOT POSSIBLE ON CONSOLE?
If you're going to complain about something, at least complain about something possible. Like, someone lag switching to kill you with Jotunn. That's possible. Or someone having insane movement with perfect aim at 20 sensitivity. That's also probably a cheat.
But saying that players are gaining extra abilities via cheats, ON CONSOLE no less, is outright ridiculous. Please do research or play more PVP before making crazy claims like this. All you do is spread misinformation, and for what? To assuage your fragile ego
EDIT: AND MAKE A VIDEO TO REPORT CHEATERS. DONT JUST POST ABOUT IT.
I matched a cheater last weekend, and:
1) I took a video
2) I uploaded it to YouTube
3) I submitted a Bungie Report Form and linked the video
4) I moved on with my life
There is literally no way you are actually matching that many cheaters, and if you are 100% sure you are, YOU SHOULD REPORT THEM USING BUNGIE'S REPORT FORM. Every single time I have submitted video evidence to Bungie, I have gotten positive confirmation of a ban. It works.

There is a converter like XIM on the PC that can simulate the keyboard and mouse signals into a GamePad signal, so that the system recognizes it as a console player, and gets the unique auxiliary aim and better flexibility of the console player, this kind of converter has been around for a long time, why is there still someone who doesn't know
-
Right. But please explain how a converter is going to make a "solar Warlock blink" or any of the other crazy stuff OP was talking about happen
-
Someone finally found out and is so excited he knows. What rock u been under?

Converter players on PC are slaughtering console players in the console matchmaking pool, and there are still people who believe that console players can't touch cheaters

Edited by NotCreative123: 3/1/2024 2:18:50 PMLet's be clear: The converter is used on the local gaming platform, not PC. No one said there weren't cheaters. The issue is that players have a tendency to attribute anything that happens in a game that they didn't understand to cheating

Even PC cheats don't do what h e's claiming lol...

I don't know about PC, but I'm almost positive there aren't any true "hacks" on console rn. If it is possible, it's so rare that there is no way this random guy is matching them with any amount of frequency. PC is a whole other game, lol. Let's just say that I'm glad I bought an Xbox

I stopped playing pvp on PC after running into multiple trials matchs of players with unlimited xenophage. Havent been back since. I miss the frame rate; but not having to run into hard cheats has been lovely.

I believe it. Even though console has some unfairness like TV, connection, and controller type, for the most part, it is "fair." With PCs, you can have all kinds of variation, which is inevitably less fair. Even if you aren't playing a cheater, if you have a $1000 rig and you're playing someone with a $5000 rig, you're at a disadvantage.
