I would argue that the prequels are better. Also Rogue One is phenomenal.

You can argue that. I would say that the prequels on there own aren't even very good. Clone wars is a brilliant show, but the movies are 6/10. I'm a purist, I watch the original trilogy, as it was before it got "updated".
