It’s not that I don’t like them, rather that I don’t appreciate the competitive bragging about the amount of sh*te they can carry. I don’t see the point. When are you going to need to lift that much stuff? I’m sorry, if a shrimp like me can lift a sofa, then you do t need to be able to “bench”. Whatever the hell that means. They’re good people, but I don’t care for their hobby.

Not a hobby…it’s a life style. Once you’ve done what he’s done, and worked as freeking HARD as he has, then you can have a say on whether it’s worth “bragging” about. Do I need to lift weights for what I lift regularly? Yes, I do…how about carrying 150lb logs on your shoulders so you can have a fire during the winter. Or if you work in construction. Things like installing counter tops. Both my bros worked in counter tops carrying 900 lb slabs of stone. We “don’t need” to lift weights these days because life is so convenient. I refuse to live taking things for granted…especially moving to Zambia. Lots of break laying, and concrete pouring.
