Plum/BattlEye Query Timeout every 10-15 minutes

I'm getting disconnected from Destiny 2 by a BattlEye Query Timeout error every 10-15 minutes, ever since last night. I've double checked that BattlEye is allowed through the Windows Defender Firewall, and restarted my PC. Nvidia Low Latency is off. I'm using Steam and an ethernet connection. Anyone have any other ideas about what could be causing this? EDIT: I also verified the integrity of the game files through Steam.

  • Deleting the BattlEye folder from the D2 directory and then verifying game files seems to have fixed the problem

  • Query Timeout means BattlEye can't connect or keep a stable connection with its own server, and it could be due to heavy network traffic and/or Internet congestion
