I want to thank Bungie for one thing
If this game hadn't been created and maintained and updated I would not have found the best friend that I have ever had.
There's not a chance on Earth that we would have naturally run into each other as they live eight time zones away from me. We DM and talk every single day on Discord. We've talked about work, game stuff, clan drama, personal goals in life, family and relationships, we have swapped book lists and everything else. I love getting messages from them because it means that my best friend is online and I get to talk to them and we use Firefly gif as ways of expressing our thoughts and opinions.
If you do nothing else in the world Bungie thank you so much for creating a space where I ended up finding this person.

Met so many good people in Destiny. Now, I hardly see anyone playing this, let alone me doing solo stuff and it gets boring really fast. The fun I had with this game, it sorta died. Hoping that TFS fix this, but for now, I'm actually having fun playing Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis. It doesn't get that boring though. We mostly chat and do urgent quests, daily quests and all. More stuff to do on a daily basis, sorta with Destiny. Maybe one day, I would come back to Destiny and find that fun again like what I used to have.

I always had a hard time making friends, unfortunately the people i played D1-D2 with..i thought they were my Friends, sadly they were not. I discovered my Friend was in front of me the whole time. Now hes my "Brother in Dispaire". I thank God for that everyday.

As well with me met my 8 friends first few weeks after d1 and we r still going strong and it all started by 1 random dude on the moon that asked me hey wanna do a nf and I was like what's a nf and the rest was history lol

1 ReplySo much this! Have one that I met in D1, and we've been friends for over 9 years. We haven't met in person yet, but we text each other a lot and send funny stuff through social media. He's one of my greatest friends because we're so much alike and I absolutely love him. Hoping one day we can actually hang out in person, cause he's family for life.

Such a thing is special. Back in the day, I had such friends in The Division. We also befriended each other on Facebook. It was all around the world.

Same scenario different time zones long lasting freindship even though we don't really play online anymore or have time.
