Well it’s gone now but that was blatantly pay to win bull crap. I think a starter pack is a good idea if it comes with an expansion for example let’s say you buy witch queen and you get a starter pack if you’re a new light to get you started. I’m fine with that. But the starter pack in the steam store was bad

Other games don't put $100 paywall a year to have content and most can be obtained through playing, destiny makes you pray that cosmetics is on the rotation for BD and you don't miss it. Now what reason to spend $20 for witcher armor set when you can spend that money on the witcher game instead?

We gave bungie their fee aka basically "early access", pay to play or wait.. Why should new players have to pony up money for super old content when bungie could just monetise WQ/LF Huh, must be why they're having all the dlcs at a super big discount rn .. because they're strugglin' to recoup that -45% fumble lol by doing anything they can to get people to play the game

Make cosmetics being actual microtransanction not costing you double the price of a season if not available permanently for bright dust. Their reputation is bad enough to drive players away both new and long time

You don’t get the purpose of a business. A businesses first goal is to make money. The expansions will all never be free because that’s stupid. Maybe a buy in bulk discount where you get 20% off if you buy all the expansions at the same time

First goal is to make money, player satisfaction is one of the factors whether a customer will spend money or not. I won't spend $40 for this much from a DLC when other games give similar amount if not more for free so there you go, one man not satisfied and not spending money on destiny. Have enough people doing the same and you get 45% lower revenue
