This game needs less nerfs and more learning to adapt.
If you're repeatedly getting outshot at range by a hand cannon while using a scout rifle, that's a You issue.

I'm not saying that I do use a scout rifle. There's no point. If 90% of my engagements are going to be in the effective range of Aggressive hand cannons, I might as well not engage them unless I have a special weapon and some abilities ready. I do not trust teammates enough to help me fight an Igneous Hammer. I don't blame anyone, but I will play very cheesy if I have to. It's top-tier meta for a reason.
