There will never be an incentive because the people that don't "kwtd" take forever to learn "wtd."

 • As someone who spends a majority of their time teaching, this is untrue. You just might not be explaining it well.

 • Perhaps, though I explain things in the simplest way possible and go through a couple of test runs to drive it home.

 • You were lucky af. That's a rare occurrence when I have to take more than 1 fresh person through. Even when it's only 1 person, they can't even handle add duty half the time.

 •
There will never be an incentive because the people that don't "kwtd" take forever to learn "wtd."
That's a very objective thing to say. I know SOME people take forever to learn but not everyone.

 • You got that backwards...only some get it in a reasonable amount of time.

 •
You got that backwards...only some get it in a reasonable amount of time.
Then that is YOUR experience. Not everyone else's. Have you actually tried taking numerous people through activities yourself? Or did you just have a few bad experiences and immediately write off being helpful in full?

 • There's a reason most people can't read vault in last wish... they either are too lazy to learn it or just don't understand that u just need a right and left at a certain location and that the left and right links to one of two words displayed on the buff screen when you run the buff around.

 • And YOUR experience isn't indicative of everyone else's either. Most sherpas take a minimum of 2.5 hours to even get to the final boss let alone finish the dam thing. I try to be patient and understanding, but most "casuals", while they mean well and are generally nice people overall, are dumber than a box of bricks with sht loadouts and don't have anything good so we have to work with what they got and it takes an hour to get through 1 easy af encounter because they keep dying, not paying attention to call outs for mechanics, ect. After awhile my patience wears out. Full grown adults with the learning curve of a teaspoon smh

You haven't said anything helpful of any substance.. only what appears to be a sense of superiority.

 • They need to form their own groups and have a guide open for reference or figure it out themselves like everyone else. There's nothing bungie can offer that would make up for wasting 3+hrs of time trying to teach these slow learning people. SOME of them learn in a reasonable amount of time but MOST of them do not.

As I clearly stated in the original post, I don't fault people for wanting to bang out their raids and get them done. I was clearly talking about a reward structure to reward people who actually DO want to help people. Obviously this post never applied to you in the first place.

 • I simply stated in my original response that the incentive doesn't exist because of the insane time commitment. There are people that actively seek new players to sherpa on Xbox lfg. I see them all the time, so there are those out there that have the patience
