Email verification is only for Bungie.net.
SMS verification is bugged - it works for some people, it works for others in specific situations, and for others it doesn't work at all. Bungie are aware and unfortunately until a fix is issued its just a matter of trying every so often

Its been around 7 months since this specific instance of the issue started happening and theres no timeline fix. These 2 were from yesterday: [quote]Hi there, Thanks for reporting. Thank you so much for looking into this for me. Will have to wait to play comp for now as never receive a code but hopefully will be resolved shortly.
