Hi there!
When you authenticate Steam, there are two authentication mechanisms you can use with Steam.
If you used your email address associated with your Steam account, you will not log into the same account that your Steam ID logs in with. It will instead log you in with your Steam Community account, which is why your name is being presented as your Steam account.

Hello, I use the name of my eso_terickk account to connect to Steam, this account is linked to the public name CamelCase_ (previously named laura.boeglin). I've just tried to recover the password on the account linked to [u]https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199121166787[/u], which has exactly the same name as my account, and the associated email address to which the password reset request is sent is completely unknown to me. I've also tried to find an account by name using the Steam search tool but I haven't had any results for laura.boeglin, but when I search for CamelCase_ I come across the account linked above. Everything leads me to believe that there has been a mysterious account link.
