Farm the Ir Yut encounter. Ir Yut can only a minute to complete giving you a chance of one dropping every time you kill her. I just started the quest so I will be farming Ir Yut soon so I can get it

A guy on YouTube just farmed this encounter for 10 hours straight and only got 2 essence.... this is insane

Season still has 80 days left in it. The weapon is mid and so is the catalyst. Spread the farming out and you'll get it around the same time you get a chance to craft the raid weapons.

Yeah i know that but most people don’t wanna do 50+ clears to get what is supposed to be a guaranteed raid weapon cuz of -blam!- rng on the material you need to progress in order to get the weapon also don’t forget you need another 15 Essences for a pathetically disappointing catalyst also most people have work, school or other irl commitments wether they are a casual, veteran, or hardcore player and they don’t have the time to always spend 3 hours+ in the game everyday and they also might wanna play other games or do activities irl. So that’s a bad take mate.

Let the people who love the grind have this weak exotic to grind. There is nothing special about the necro. Most people need to get over their fomo and just live without a c tier weapon.

If you want overly grindy quests / activities play Eso, Wow or Elden ring because the reality is that most players are tired of how grindy Destiny 2 has become

If you hate mildly grindy quests/activities play Sonic Adventures, Resident Evil 4 Remake, or Avatar the Last Air Bender the Video Game because in reality Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 have always been grindy.

My take was to spread the grind out over the entire season (and even a little in next season) instead of trying to grind it out 3+ hours a day. If you spread the grind you'll average out to about a 10 minutes grind a day. Even with 300 ir yut runs. And after agreeing that both the raid exotic and its catalyst are mid, what's the rush? This is an exotic that you dismantle after getting it.

And a lot of people got Necro from the reset glitch as well. Imo everyone who partook in Day 1 normal or challenge should’ve gotten it regardless if they managed to complete Crota encounter or not because the day 1 experience was disappointing compared to previous day 1’s.

I spent years grinding wow and i still do not have the mounts i want. We used to ignore those quest and not sweat them. But because you have fomo you feel like you need to get this crap weapon ASAP or you'll somehow miss out on something. Play normally. Enjoy what you enjoy. The only one who can turn a game into a job is you. The only disappointing contest experience was RON. CE was an amazing one. And no. Nobody should get a participation trophy, instead the people who got the necro from a glitch should have them deleted.

And the statement where you said only yourself can turn a game into a job isn’t necessarily true cuz some games are overly grindy and it feels like having another work position and most people don’t enjoy that and it’s sad to see how grindy Destiny 2 has become but bungie is desperate to keep their numbers up…

No one has a gun to your head nor is paying you in order to force you or anyone to grind anything. You're all using your free will to grind those weapons. If you don't enjoy something don't do it. These "most people" you bring up don't even raid nor do they bother griding for good weapons, let alone trash ones like the chasm. The only people bothering to turn this grind into a job are people suffering from fomo. I don't need to be a doctor to see that a very smalls amount of people are suffering from fomo due to not being able to get a c tier gun. Destiny 2 has always been grindy. So was Destiny 1. The

The drop rate is actually far better than a ton of other games. I don't think you have ever gone through and actual grind. It does not mean that this type of grind does not belong Call me a fan boy all you want, at least I'm playing a game i enjoy. What are you doing playing something that you think is bad? Why even bother with getting a bad weapon in a game you do not enjoy? I think you might be more into bungie than me because there is no force in the world that would make me play something I don't enjoy.

It’s just redundant, it’s base 76 reload in what world do you need it to be faster ?!?!? And worth 35 oversouls ?!?! Hard pass at this point. All 3 characters a week should get at LEAST 1 guaranteed.

I'll give you better, daily drop reset with guaranteed rewards + bonus challenge - First day full run clear : 1 essence Challenges - Flawless : +1 - Clear under 40 minutes : +1 That's one essence a day or up to three for better performance
