IThey should 100% buff the drop rate for the non-guaranteed drops. I wouldn't argue with getting my catalyst faster lol.
I will say that even if it took 20 raids to guarantee the exotic, that's a LOT better than what some people have had to endure for the pure-RNG raid exotics. There's people double and triple that with no conditional finality, collective obligation, etc.

See it’s 20 raids spread across 20 weeks. Only one is guaranteed per account per week.

But still farmable. I've received more than my one a week so far and have only run 1 "free" run with no loot. I do think this isn't as big of a problem as most people are making it but still would welcome a nerf to the amount you need if they plan to keep it this way.

I get it’s farmable and I have no problem with that. But just because it is doesn’t excuse the abysmal drop rates or the singular guarantee per week. I think a good middle ground would just make it 1 guaranteed per character per week and maybe a bump to drop rates, seeing as how it’s roughly the same as just a raid exotic anyway.

Right, which is why im on board with them buffing the drop rate like I said. Im totally fine with them either giving more or reducing the cost, or both. I just ALSO don't think it's as big an issue as people are making it out to be. The only way it takes someone 20 weeks is if they do no triumphs and do one run a week. Im sure those people exist. TL;DR: They should buff it in some way, 100%, but at the same time I think it gets a little hyperbolic when everyone is like IM NOT GONNA HAVE THE GUN UNTIL EASTER lol. That's all.

Yeah you need people to do that I dont have friends that play destiny anymore and my english is not good enough for lfg So i will skip the gun And maybe they nerf the quest

But if those are your problems, it really doesn't matter how many raids they require lol.
