This is why we need connection based match making
Similar skill isn't cutting it. I'm never paired with anyone close to my KDA. One team is always stacked. And every match has players that Lag.
So some might think it's my connection. Well, I live in Washington, and I'm about 2 hours from bungie headquarters. I have xfinity gigabit fiber internet. I'm at 1.2gb down and 52 up with a 3 to 12 ping. The only things hooked up to it are my ps5 and TV while I'm playing.

Yeah the lag has been atrocious with bullets the hit but dont register. The problem is amplified by the rubberbanding from some melees like ophidians and knockout. Im convinced that crossplay isnt as big of an issue because ive had some of the laggiest matches against people on my same platform (playstation)

I mean you connected 7 bullets, but the guy had an overshield and the frozen DR applied so you were only hitting for 13. I mean, you missed at least 1 shot on a frozen stationary target and were hitting body shots...So not sure what you were expecting to happen? The melee teleporting has nothing to do with SBMM and just how janky bungie melee works. Do i think CBMM needs to return? absolutely but that video isn't demonstrating anything.

I've presented similar arguments to pro sbmm players. Died to opponent because I missed my shots Died to my opponents because my enemy was teleporting and missed my shots... well it wasn't possible
