Everythings bigger in Texas This includes their rotund Men and Women, the oversized trucks to compensate for very small...things, and of course the big egos thinking that the place they call home is some kinda freedom sanctuary because they get to play cowboy dressup and walk around with real loaded revolvers. Texas is just the midway between two terrible places to live, a burning desert on one side, and the swampy sou-outh on the other, yes that was one word stretched into two cause Texas. The only decent things there: is the BBQ which is probably overpriced and overrated, chased by a beer that was brewed from the East Coast (Yuengling is the best). I have come to the conclusion that the only reason for the cowboy hats and boots outside of a ranch or farm must be all the people lining up for a statewide re-shoot of Brokeback Mountain, which is fine because they like that sorta stuff there in Texas, its only Steers and.......

I once saw a kid walking out of a restaurant with his parents and a gun and holster...

  • Way to explain Texas to me, as if I’m not stranded here.

  • I have been there several times, I just hate Texas, I would hand it back over to Mexico if I could... The NASA museum in Houston was cool to see when I was a kid.

  • Born and raised and I hate it too. I get it, trust me. But sometimes stereotypes are just that and your post is filled with them. I’ll say the bbq is NOT overrated and honestly not much is overpriced in that state. Pretty cheap to live there.

  • I like the East Coast, and East Coast food and beer and I am just overly biased in a stupid way. I was surprised about Yuengling actually expanding all the way to Texas, my favorite amber beer finally being more available...

  • Same. My sister in law loves the stuff and when we lived in NY we would bring her some every time we visited Texas. I also love the east coast. It’s probably one of my favorite places to be. I actually had my daughter in NC. If I’m being honest, the US is pretty shite all over.
