They patched that when they updated the raid in Rise of Iron.

You would think they’d have patched it fully, but it’s still possible to do a version of the skip to solo the raid. I did it to beat it flawlessly with 4 people a few years into d2 because me and some friends wanted the platinum trophy.

If they're bringing him back as a lucent hive they most likely are going to change the raid from what we remember a bit. Might be the same encounter wise but appearance might look different. If they do that then they might fix that. :(

Lucent hive crota’s end sounds really good actually but I have my doubts bungie will actually do that.

Think i heard news that they're bringing him back story wise too though. Since the Lucent Hive failed to resurrect Oryx... 🤷♂️
