Wrong. It punishes bad players who don't know how to play the objective.
There are plenty of tools for dealing with Titans.
What's the matter? Can't hide anymore and wait until the enemy challenges you in a favorable position? Pathetic.
The people suffering are those hiding and waiting. Those who take the initiative to gain map control are going to do better.
I laugh at you people

Titans are beatable, but they're also the most popular class BY FAR. And by most popular, I mean that out of the players who win over 90% of their Trials games, 61% of them were using a Titan. 40% of them were Arc Titans, and 17% were Void Titans. There's nothing inherently wrong with Dominion, but if Bungie is trying to balance the game around it, then Titans (especially Arc and Void) need to be tuned

Yet the player base collectively is mostly Hunter

Edited by NotCreative123: 7/6/2023 3:08:01 PMDo you really not see the issue? Hunters and Titans have similar overall usage rates, but as you filter out players who have a low win percentage, a clear trend emerges. Titans are used by more than half of the top Trials players. Arc Titan is used by around 20% of the general population, but is used by 40% of the players who win over 90% of their Trials games. Arc Titan is the most used subclass in general, and is overwhelmingly the most used subclass when you only look at successful players. There are two theories that can explain the data. 1) Top players who already win a lot prefer Arc Titan for some reason, more than the general population does. Or 2) Arc Titan is more effective than the other subclasses. If you can think of another way to explain the data, I'd love to hear it Regardless, if you play against an Arc Titan in Trials, statistically, the odds are not in your favor to win. Likewise, using an Arc Titan improves your chances of winning.

Skill issue. People love complaining about thing's they don't understand or have even ever used. These same player's wouldn't immediately become better by playing arc titan. That's pretty much it. People will blame anything but themselves. Crying is easier than getting gud
-
I agree that players like to blame outside factors instead of their own shortcomings. However, that really has nothing to do with what we are talking about. It doesn't help explain why Arc Titans are the most popular choice for players who win a lot. Are Arc Titans popular because the people who win a lot prefer them? Or are they more popular, because they cause the players who use them to win more? Regardless, I think Arc Titan is both overused and too effective.

You're only giving 2 options on a heavily subjective matter. There are a myriad of reasons why people pick what they do and find success with. Stompees got nerfed, and despite how much people complain about the spine and tripmines , their usage has gone down. Simply put, perhaps people are trying out Titan since the hunter nerfs. People still seem to not understand how to counter a Titan running at them in a straight line from halfway across the map
-
That doesn't explain the discrepancy between the general usage rate, 20%, and the usage rate among top players, 40%. Why are Arc Titans more popular among top players than other subclasses? I don't believe it's because Stompees were nerfed.

Numbers can't tell you the whole story. How many of them are dedicated Titans and how many just switched?
-
Lmao telling people to git gud😂💀 when u in fact are not is “laughable”

It just actively favors titans when they are already the top pvp option regardless. Mode play ok some maps. Not so much on others
