My friend it's 100% a skill issue.
First time beating him it took me 5-6 hours on legendary.
Did it with a friend two weeks ago in just over 28 minutes

Whilst I agree it's not as hard as some people make it out to be, never underestimate the power of having someone else for enemies to target. Took me over 2 hours solo (just on Calus), and under 5 minutes as 3, both on the same day in the first week.
