You can't refund a perk if doing so would lock a column where another perk is already active. For example if you have any perks selected in the 5th column you can't deselect any perks in columns 1-4.

I don’t want to refund them, I want to select them to use. But now when I select the next column, the previous one becomes unusable. I haven’t played in awhile, did something change where you don’t equip these mods anymore?

You can only select up to 12 since last season when they were changed from armor mod unlocks to passive perks.

So whatever 12 I select are just active when I play? As long as I’m using the correct class/weapon etc?
