Unable to commend other players
Since last week I've been unable to commend any players at the end of activities.
There's no option to bring up the commendation screen post activity, just the match results.
No option to tab across to commendations once the match results screen is up.
Just posting this for visibility, seems like most people are completely fine and don't have this issue.

Same here, since the beginning of the season i havent been able to commend anyone but i am still receiving them so i know it isnt broken for everyone

This seems to affect PVP entirely unless that is bugged in its own right. Most activities I at least get to see the players to commend them, but Iron Banner and Crucible at the game end nobody appears, and maybe 1 in 3 games you see commendations on the results screen appear.

5 RepliesPOTENTIAL SOLUTION: I had a similar issue for several days since Season of the Deep Launch. I was able to have the recommendation screen re-appear once I completed both the first story and the first salvage the quest takes you on with all three of my characters (Titan/Warlock/Hunter). Once completed on my third character, the Recommendations screen started to pop up for all my characters. Hope this helps

Same thing started today after update on PS5, I can hear other players ‘ding’ giving commendations but I never see that screen. I can only return to orbit.

not only are we not able to commend but this is locking us out of hawthorne weekly commendation gear.. same old bungie

1 ReplyI am having a similar issue but seems to only be crucible/iron banner. Also experiencing some crucible bounties not getting progress and not completing even though I know I’ve gotten grenade kills and kinetic weapon kills.

same on xbox one sometimes it pops up on strikes but Salvage hasn't let me give a single one, just player screen with no option to give a commendation.

Echoing sentiment, same issue - any post-activity screen just takes me straight to Summary, unable to give commendations - dungeons, raids, PvP, strikes - nothing.

Another +1 from me playing on PC. Stopped being able to commend people late last week. I do occasionally get commendations from other players though. I have one clanmate on steam PC who has the same issue, and another clanmate also on steam PC who can still issue commendations.

Been having the same issue since they re -enabled the clan features last week. Had no issue with commendations before that.

Same thing for me since the beginning of the season. There was a brief window of a few days last week where I could, now I cannot again.

In other modes I can switch to the commendations as I stand beside the end chest etc to gain a head start on the loading and can get the commendations out just in time. (I like the idea of the commendations and would be happy in taking the time to dish them out) Edit: I found I can commend on the final results screen by clicking to the left of the players name. (sorry I've only recently returned and had no idea I could do that)
