Another season, same problems
As per the title, I really hoped they would fix the constant crashing issues that some series x users are having.
It’s been going on since lightfall released and it’s gone beyond laughable. I’ve posted here multiple times and bungie help have replied directly saying they are investigating the issue but it’s just not good enough.
I have pumped so much money into this franchise and can’t even play it for 5 minutes without it crashing.
Doesn’t matter the activity, only happens on destiny 2, I can play COD or Halo for hours on end without issue. Sick and tired of it all now

1 ReplyI agree. D2 was much more reliable when it was part of Activision. Now? Lame and troubled starts, mediocre content and lots of Bugs (Where are those starship troopers?). But hey! They got those pronouns slapped everywhere now.

I have been having the same issue but on PS5. It started when Lightfall launched and it not only shuts my game down, but shuts my entire system down each time (I literally have to unplug and replug in my system each time so it can reboot). There appears to be no rhyme or reason to what triggers it, as it has crashed in activities, in the tower, while fishing, while solo, while in a fireteam. I have tried everything I can find online to try to remedy the issue on my end, to no avail. I've posted in the help forum to no avail. This hasn't happened with any other game I play online, only Destiny, and only since Lightfall. I'd really like to play the new content, and I feel omega frustrated that this particular issue doesn't seem to be high on their list of concerns to patch. I would think it would be, but apparently not. I'm commenting here for traction in hopes it gets addressed for all of us sooner than later.

I have the exact same problem but on xbox one S the game freeze every 10 or 15 minute after a single activities or even in a equipment menu
