I just received a warning message when logging in from Bungie that said "this account has a consistently unstable connection that is affecting other players. If this continues the account maybe restricted what the @#*! ???????????
man what nerve your gonna restrict my account because of what? Who are Bungie devs to say someone Has to have top tier internet connection? Do they know what's available in my area? Or any area? So they know if I'm in the position to financially afford that ? How are you gonna threaten to ban some one for bad internet. Go ban all the hackers and cheaters on here I run into in pvp every day with great Internet. Using it for all the wrong things. I'm so peeved off right now.
With all the money I have invested in this blaming Game!

4 RepliesDoesn’t matter where you live, who you live with, or what you can afford. If you don’t have a stable enough connection, then don’t play pvp to ruin it for others…..plain & simple.

2 RepliesEdited by Seki: 5/23/2023 6:41:09 AMSomeone reported you for bad connection and the Bungies confirmed that. You know that a single lagger can ruin the experience for 6 opponents (depending on how bad it is) and even team mates at times?
Who are Bungie devs to say someone Has to have top tier internet connection?
Their house - their rules
Go ban all the hackers and cheaters on here
I like how apparently a lot of people think it is so easy. You need to understand that cheats and anticheats play an arms race against each other with the cheats constantly evolving trying to actively circumvent detection and the anticheat always legging a step behind trying to catch up. Cheaters are getting banned, we have one here and there crying in the forum about it (and that is the minority). Those things don't work exclusively but exist in parallel.

1 ReplySo you play an online game with bad internet, get a warning and instead of trying to improve your connection you blame others I hope you get banned in the future

7 RepliesYou won’t get banned, you will only get restricted from doing certain activities.

1 ReplyAllo there, Bungie are not asking you to have top tier internet but asking for a stable connection. You can ask your ISP to run some tests to see if there is a fault along the line that could be fixed and prevent a restriction. However please remember that a bad connection is detrimental to other players. If you can't get a stable connection then you'll need to stay clear of PvP activities. Please see this link so you can try to optimise your network.
