You say Bungie is out of touch for a change you don't like, meawhile tho you're making an absolutely terrible comparison to give ground to your opinion. You definetely can't compare Icarus Dash to Shoulder Charge.

And that's the problem. It is a Melee Ability that has been overused as a movement tool and now Bungie said [i]"enough"[/i]. You can't compare an actual move tool Ability (Dash) that is available to only one Subclass to a Melee Ability that is available to three Subclasses and used for both things. If you want a movement tool with Titans, use the Striker with the Dodge.

You're not losing out any Ability. You're replacing your Barricade to a Dodge. You're simply changing your tool to adopt a different kind of gamestyle because you have the choice to do so. Also, as I have already said, the point in the change is that Bungie doesn't want Titans to use theyr Melee Ability as a movementt tool. While Icarus Dash [i]IS[/i] a movement tool. So -at least for me- makes sense that Dawnblades can flying over the Map using theyr peculiar trait -which is, you guessed it, moving in the air- plus a pure movement tool.
