It's not that deep, it's simply that most people don't care about commendations.

1 Replyhey Koulnis i feel your frustration but i think you're going the wrong way about it. Please, definitely change the title of this post (little offensive right now). Second, try to put yourself in your teammates shoes, they lost, maybe are frustrated and don't commend because of it but than you allow yourself to be frustrated because of them, even though a second ago you were trying to help (in winning). Finish as you started... trying to help your team. Match ends, you lose but if you stick to being the one you set out to be, you'll commend your losing team, brighten their unfortunate demise by lifting their spirits (commend them) and move on. That alone should make you feel better, the better man, taking the high road 😉 And maybe, just maybe those frustrated teammates of yours will realize what you (a mystery Guardian to them) have done and will begin to do the same... eventually

Most players simply don't care about Bungies back-patting system, its daft.

Sometimes the screen just doesn't load in time or it shows that for some reason I already gave them out when in fact I had not. Then by the time I get to the other screen to hand out commendations time is up.

When playing pvp I want to get it over with and this includes not spending the extra time in a screen for something useless.

It does rub me the wrong way on a smaller sized team matchup like Gambit where I end up the only one giving Comms out, but if we’re talking PvP, that’s a whole different story. If it’s a close match or halfway decent, no prob. I see a player actively playing the team effort, going support and covering us where we really could use it, they’ve guaranteed their MVP status. But if we get flat out stomped and I, a genuinely mediocre player, still am sitting at the top of our leaderboard? I won’t only not give my teammates a comm. I’ll give it to the other team’s guys because as far as I see it, they actually earned theirs. You don’t even need meta-tier guns to be halfway decent on kills or objective progress, but if I were to count on my fingers where we had actual potato-clocks for players on our teams would make me look I walked out of a vat of mutagenic acid from Chernobyl. Like, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. version one.
