And when were the majority of northern slaves freed then? I think you’ll come to see that it was in 1804, well before the civil war. Then December of 1865, during the same year he was assassinated was the 13th Amendment ratified. During his expected 2nd term before being killed by a terrorist. So no, not specifically by the emancipation proclamation but it did lead to the full expulsion of it. Now there were still some indentured servants for a while after but that is still fairly different.
