Hello, Bungie Help (or anyone who can assist),
Question about cross save and a little back story for context:
Question: My Cross save is set to my Xbox account being my primary account, but I started playing Destiny on Playstation way back in 2014. Is there anyway to see if I am missing any emblems or items on my account even though my original character for D2 does not exist anymore?
Back Story for context: I started back in Beta for D1 and still have my character there. I started playing on Xbox as well to play with my brother back in the day so I ended up having both a Playstation and an Xbox Destiny account. Since that time I have taken breaks and come back off and on throughout the years. I do remember setting up the Cross Save and being happy that I could progress on 1 set of characters instead of 2, but I don't remember specifically picking Xbox account as my main. I had done so much more on my Playstation account in D1 that I don't know why I didn't pick that as I main. As I was going through checking some things on my Bungie account I finally notice that my Xbox is my main account and not my Playstation. I can't tell from the Bungie site if my Playstation account has items that I don't have on my Xbox account. I am aware of the ability to deactivate cross save and reactivate after 90 days if I want to do that to see for myself if I am missing anything. I was just wondering if there was any way I could get customer support or go somewhere to see if doing all that is worth my time to get items I may be missing out on.
Related to my characters: I still have my original characters on D1. Not a big deal in this game, but I remember there was the character migration back when D2 came out. On D2 I changed my main from Hunter to Warlock and back to Hunter. I know it's not necessarily the best choice, but I ended up deleting previous characters in D2 when i changed mains. (dumb move on my part, I know)
I completely understand all the mistakes made with my account are my own fault. I'm old and don't always make the best choices in the heat of the moment. I just figured it'd be worth a shot to try and ask if there was anything I could to double check.
Thank you for your time and have a great rest of your day,
/salute

1 ReplyWhile you did indeed put in the bulk of your D1 time on your PSN account (501hrs), with only just shy of 47hrs on your Xbox account; your Destiny 2 time has only been on your Xbox account, with no D2 history for your PSN account. As nothing transferred from D1 to D2, other than the physical appearance of characters, a few emblems (if qualified), and a small change in some original campaign dialogue; you are not really missing anything. Your PSN account would be starting completely fresh, no gear, no exotics, no progress. Definitely not worth deactivating cross-save, as you have over 428hrs on your Xbox based characters, along with the various goodies you’ve earned in that time.
