Changing root account platforms
Hi,
So many years ago I started my journey with destiny on PSn. With account golden1_1dragon recently I’ve gotten back onto destiny on steam using my new n pretty expensive pc. Unfortunately I can’t return to playing on the PSn account because I was a very bad boy on that account when I was playing online red dead redemption n GTA Online. (That community is just different n it changes u for the worse). I’ve stayed away from that game now since losing my account. I’ve created a new PSn account n for the last 6 months I’ve been a good boy.
Could I change my PSn account from the old to the new even tho it is the root?

5 RepliesNo, your characters are permanently bound to their platform profile - in your case its your 'Golden1_1Dragon' PSN account. If your PSN is banned - you wont be able to deactivate cross-save either, so your setup cannot be altered. Even if it could be altered, deactivating cross-save would put all platforms back to their own set of characters and render your PSN characters inaccessible. Bungie also wont transfer your PSN characters to another PSN account.
