Corrupted data on PS4

*cross posted* On PS4, had an install download for 2.84. Joined friend in Unfinished Business mission step 11 in the Black Garden. Proceeded down the cliff about 4 platforms, instantly got blue screened and was suggested the add on data is corrupted and wants me to delete the game and reinstall. He is on PS5, version 1.079.000. I have previously completed this missiom whereas he has not. I'd rather not have to uninstall and reinstall the game yet again (I'm looking at you, last update before Lightfall released). On PS4 Error History: Error Code CE-34224-5, application CUSA05042, Cannot continue using the application. The add-on for the following applications is corrupted. To start the following applications, you must first delete them from the PS4, and then reinstall them." Also will crash if attempting to enter the portal in Irkalla Complex.

  • Hello. If the game usually gets corrupted, it could be due to your hard drive that could be faulty. I would recommend trying an external hard drive and see if issue persists. If you have one and issue doesn’t persist, it would most likely be your internal hard drive being the issue.
