I'm kinda looking for some help here. I started the season with an ELO of 1300 (which I don't normally care about). Not the best, but not the worst. I have never taken so many consecutive losses in my life as I have this season. D2 Tracker proves that every single team I get matched on is at a fairly steep level disadvantage across the board and I've been tanked all the way down to a 940. (Was 807 at one point! Lol wtf)
I feel like I'm either matched outside of my skill bracket or I'm obviously placed on a team to carry. There's zero in between, and it's ESPECIALLY rough solo.
My question is, am I doing something wrong? I don't feel like I'm playing worse, my build feels fine, I'm even playing on the Meta again... Like I said, I don't really care about ELO, but man, I'm fighting for my friggin life every match and still losing, and it's starting to feel pretty bad. Like, it's to the point I'm genuinely getting concerned that Bungie will flag my account for intentionally throwing lol
Has anyone else had a similar experience? What gives? Did everyone else just suddenly get way better at PvP? Any help is appreciated.

1 ReplyElo has nothing to do with the matchmaking, bungie has a internal “elo” for everyone. This is just the woes of sbmm

Lol. I started off last night with a 1688 ELO for clash playing solo. I ended the night 1165. Honestly ELO means nothing. It’s the matchmaking that’s bad.

4 RepliesHahaha you’re not alone. Most pvp players on the forums have experienced “matchmaking hell”. I’ve had days straight of losing 80% of games, you just have to grind it out. It feels intentional but everyone goes through it. Some say it’s because you previously had some good win streaks and the game trying to pull you towards a 50% win rate
