The trick is to not bother getting it since it's only good in pvp and pvp is trash.
Just enjoy other things in your life.
Why play garbage Trials for a weapon that's only good inside an awful game mode that isn't worth playing to begin with?

This is hands down one of if not the best primary strand weapons and its stats/perks are goated for PvE too.

apparently not all i hear in pve meta is ability, special, and heavy spam for that good dps

Obviously those options are better for dps. Still a lot of primaries that rip through adds. Mostly with the help of builds like volatile. Repulsor brace, destabilizing rounds, voltshot, incandescent, and hatchling have all given really good utility to primary weapons and overall builds
