Please give Commander Zavala the hero's send-off he deserves
Hopefully, his legacy as a character gets honored with a worthy sacrifice against the Witness to send him off. Maybe Saint-14 can return as the Titan Vanguard in Zavala's absence?

Zavala is Zavala. Lance Reddick is Lance Reddick. Zavala the character does not need to die just because Lance the man did.

Just recast him for crying out loud. His death was tragic, and while he loved the role killing Zavala off with him is stupid and reduces his work as an actor an VA to a single instance, doing him injustice in turn.

1 ReplyNo, not everyone plays in English, I never heard his voice, cast another VA for you American players and that's it, the rest of nations don't have to go through that, especially not the statue thing which is ridiculous. You think the Simpsons would shut down if the VA of Homer Simpson died?

1 ReplyI would love to see a cutscene where Zavala takes a nightly stroll in the city, when 6 tormentors suddenly spawn in. They are search for artifacts of the traveler and start killing citizens. So Zavala rushes in and ends up sacrificing himself by trapping all the tormentors in a giant bubble while his ghost self destructs and kills everything in the bubble.
